Wear and tear usually occurs on the sealing faces of the mechanical seals. These parts can be renewed or replaced. Firstly, the seals are throughly degreased and cleaned. They are then inspected for hair-line cracks or factures. All metal components of the seals are then grit-blasted. Mechanical springs are tested for tension and replaced if the need arises. Rotary Seal faces are rebuilt and Carbon Stationery Faces are renewed. Please note that sealing faces are lapped to one helium light hair band per square inch flatness. All grub screws, wedges, & Viton O-Rings are also renewed. Seals are then ultra-sonic cleaned to remove minute particles.
They are then inspected and tested before they are returned to you.
